PAOLO GRANATA is professor of Media and Communication at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, and adjunct professor of Cultural Heritage Management, and of Media, Culture and Public Memory at the University of Bologna. His main research interests are Media Aesthetics, Museum Communication, Digital Heritage, and Contemporary Arts. His latest books, Arte, estetica e nuovi media, (2009) and Mediabilia (2012) represent an interdisciplinary approach to new media. In 2011 he was the recipient of the McLuhan Centenary Award from the McLuhan Program for Culture and Technology, University of Toronto.
