ICAP sets out to promote and organize a systematic national strategy to gather and preserve materials about the Italian-Canadian experience across the country. The network of experts, institutions, community groups and interested individuals has grown significantly across Canada and internationally. ICAP is establishing its foundations to ensure that the Italian-Canadian stories are preserved, collected and made accessible to all Canadians. Members of the ICAP are established and emerging researchers in the field of Italian-Canadian studies who strive to partner and connect with other interested individuals, groups, organizations, and institutions across Canada. In this way, the ICAP is grounded in the spirit of collaboration and networking.
